Funky DIY – Shrovetide Idea + DIY Contest

Hey Chicks! I am not quite sure whether you will like this or believe it to be too funky. This is really a crazy idea but I figure it would be a un dress-up /shrovetide idea! I would have liked to spray paint these also, but I hope you get the picture! Enjoy!

Start by ripping off the legs of the Barbie and draw a dot where you want the hole to be. When drilling the hole use a tiny tiny tiny drill, otherwise the plastic will crack.

Thread the needle and put the string through the drilled hole. Tie loads of knots to make sure it will not break. I recommned using an elastic string, that will minimize the risk of breaking the string.

That’s it! Your funky and slightly freaky costume necklace is done! This is really a fun element for a dress up party and if you are brave enough spray paint it black and wear it like a normal accessory! Do you dare?

For my next DIY, I would like you to tell me what to make out of these spikes! Come wiht loads of ideas! The best idea will win the piece I choose to create! I am looking forward to hear your ideas!

  1. Jeg er vild med den makabre halskæde! Haha, hvor er den sej.
Og så er jeg vild med, hvordan du har tegnet krydser på øjnene af den døde Barbie. R.I.P.

  2. Den er skummel ^^” Hehehe…
Ville blive skræmt over at se den blive brugt til hverdag XD Der er bare noget ulækkert ved ødelagte barbiedukker XD
