Hello everybody! It has been a while since I last talked about my wedding plans, and I want to document the entire process so here goes. There is about 8 months until we are getting married, so still quite a while, but if there is one thing I have learned from my previous zero waste parties, it is be freaking prepared!
I think that all too often we clutter our most important moments in disposable uselessness. Instead of really focusing on what it is all about, we are too easily distracted with all kinds of stuff, things that will maybe seem fun for 5 minutes and then forgotten, or things that will make us seem more wealthy – plastic disguised as silver and gold. With the Zero Waste lifestyle, I am trying to take a step back from all of these single-use products and our wedding will be no exception.
There are so many things one can do to lessen the impact of trash and pollution, especially when it comes to a large celebration like this. Of course, you will always have to compromise, because not everyone’s situation is the same, but still, within the frame you live and the opportunities which you have, there is so much to done. Take a look it this guide I found on Pinterest:
