Hello everybody! I have been testing a plastic free, and vegan, lipstick from Monomeer.de. I have talked about this site before, in my review of their dental tabs, as a zero waste alternative to toothpaste. I have had lots of problems finding cosmetics without plastic, which is why I have made so much of it myself, but I have never had any luck with lipstick, hence this product saves the day! It comes in a paper wrapping, is vegan and organic! If you want, check out more right here. They have different shades, but I chose a versatile colour, slightly burnt and with a touch of shine. It has become my new everyday essential when it comes to zero waste beauty products and I use it almost everyday – Plastic free saves the day!

Hello ! I don’t know if all of their products are 100% plastic free, but Bo.Ho Cosmetics have some pretty cool products, Couleur Caramel and ZAO Makeup have really good products as well. There packaging are recycled paper/cardboard and Zao is bamboo packaging that is really pretty, and Zao sells refills for most of their products too (I don’t remember if the refills are packed in plastic or not but it’s worth looking into).
These three brands are organic on their websites you can look up their certifications, and there are vegan products (don’t know if everything is vegan sorry). I do really like the eye shadows of the three brands, I don’t really know about the lipsticks haven’t tested any out yet.
Hope this comment helped you. I love reading your blog posted and watching your videos :). Have a nice day.
Wow!! Thanks, I’ve had a hard time finding makeup with sustainable packaging, especially one with refills. Zao looks like a dream come true, except the lipstick refills are in plastic..
Wish I could get the zero waste lipstick from this post but the store doesn’t ship to the US. I did find an Etsy shop that sells lipstick in metal tins: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KeepingItNatural?ref=l2-shopheader-name
lush is selling naked lipstick too. you can just put it in an empty lipstick tube!
