DEADSTOCK // denim dress

Hello everybody! I love my layers, I love my socks and my jumpers as much as the next cozy gorl. But I have also been waiting for the weather to get some use out of my Summer pieces. One of which is this dress from Mahla clothing, and it is as sustainable as they come. The dress is made from deadstock denim, which is discarded waste denim that would otherwise have been wasted. (you can use the code GITTEMARY to get free shipping through all 2020, yaaaas)

Online Second Hand Shops // international list

I styled the dress with some second-hand accessories that I found this Spring. The sandals are from the ’90s and found via Depop, and the bag is thrifted. I have actually made a list of cool and amazing online second-hand shops to make it easier for all y’all to find second-hand fashion that fits your style and preferences. (I’ve also linked you to my list of eco brands that I looove btw)

Eco Brands I Stand By // a list of sustainable fashion companies

I have a couple of solid favourites when it comes to jewellery, and I wear those every.single.day haha. It is my silver necklaces from Black Buddha Jewellery and my gold necklace made with recycled gold from Ana Luisa. The black velvet choker is also a fave that I was lucky enough to thrift last year.
